Broadneck Pharmacy, opened in 1985 by Pharmacist Bud LaChapelle, is celebrating over 20 years of service to the Arnold, Annapolis, and Severna Park areas. Marcus LaChapelle, PharmD, has joined his father to continue the family business into the new century. Marcus LaChapelle graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Biological Resource Engineering before receiving his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2007.

Broadneck Pharmacy is a member of the EPIC Pharmacy Network. This network comprises over 700 independently owned pharmacies in seven states stretching from Delaware to Indiana. It serves both as a buying group and a contracting agent with most prescription insurance plans. Our state of the art pharmacy computer immediately verifies prescription drug coverage and provides instant payment information. More importantly, the computer screens for harmful drug interactions, verifies proper medication dosages, provides patitents with easy to read drug information leaflets and convenient end-of-the year IRS statements.

Broadneck Pharmacy also specializes in compounding, diabetic supplies, ostomy supplies and home health care. We stock wheel chairs and bedside commodes for sale or rent. In addition, we bill Medicare Part B and secondary insurance  for these supplies and services when applicable.
