Chesapeake Research Consortium
The Chesapeake Research Consortium, Inc. (CRC) is a non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Maryland. It is an association of six institutions, each with a long-standing involvement in research on problems affecting the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. The Chesapeake Research Consortium supports scientific and technical activities (including research) in the tidal Chesapeake Bay, its drainage basin and adjoining airshed, as well as adjacent offshore waters of the Middle Atlantic Bight. About 12,000 years ago, with the melting of glacial ice, the story of the Mid-Atlantic coastal riverlands and culture emerged. Join us in re-envisioning — with story, song and art — the on-going wonder of The Chesapeake Story…
