Broadneck Baseball and Softball
The Broadneck Baseball & Softball Club is comprised of the families of more than 900 children playing organized youth baseball and softball on the Broadneck Peninsula. We are affiliated with the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth organizations in baseball and with the Pony organization in softball. The goal at BBSC is to provide an opportunity for Broadneck-area children of all levels of ability and interest to play softball and baseball in a safe environment, emphasizing sportsmanship and fair play. Most importantly, we simply want to make softball and baseball a fun and memorable experience for all.
Broadneck Select Baseball
Broadneck Select Baseball is a non-profit organization based on the Broadneck Peninsula in Annapolis, Maryland whose mission is “to create a competitive baseball environment for kids 11-18 to develop, expand and improve fundamental skills with the goal of playing high school baseball”. The 11 to 14 year old teams participate in the Chesapeake Baseball Association, the Mid-Maryland Travel Association or in the Anne Arundel County leagues, as well as participating in a variety of tournaments throughout the season against a broad range of teams from Maryland/Delaware/Virginia. Broadneck Select fields high school level teams after the baseball season that play in the Mickey Mantle and Connie Mack leagues run by the Anne Arundel Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA).
