Start the holiday season off with the United States Naval Academy Band! On Friday, December 7, at 7:30 P.M., the band will present a concert of holiday favorites in Mahan Hall.
Lieutenant Commander Brian O. Walden will lead a program of contemporary and traditional carols to put you in the holiday spirit. Naval Academy Professor Captain Owen Thorp will narrate “’Twas The Night Before Christmas.” Naval Academy Band’s jazz band the “Next Wave” will be on hand to present their own version of Tschaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite.”

Join in on the holiday fun by attending Midnight Madness I and II on December 6 and 13—two nights where downtown merchants remain open until midnight to welcome holiday shoppers. Performers scheduled include the Old Mill High School Steel Drum Band, Linda Patterson Stein, Annapolis Area Christian School students, Salvation Army Band and Cub Scouts Pack 3. WRNR and WNAV will air live on site. Additional performers will be announced. Downtown merchants will show their hospitality with special sales discounts and complimentary refreshments.
