Sandy Point State Park will host the 42nd annual version of this tasty and entertaining Annapolis tradition, with music, great food, exhibits, arts and crafts, and feature The Capital’s Crab Soup Cook-off on September 12th!
The weekend of family fun and feasting is expected to draw 20,000 visitors from the all across the mid-Atlantic region. The Maryland Seafood Festival is a rich tradition in the State and has been held annually for 40+ years, with the most recent 30 years being held the weekend after Labor Day at Sandy Point State Park. That tradition has been built around a safe, family friendly environment showcasing the great seafood that Maryland has to offer while bringing people from all over the East Coast in the off season. Live music performances, local charities selling delicious treats, creative craft booths, not to mention everyone’s seafood favorites, guarantee fun is had by all.

The Anne Arundel County Farmers’ Market has over 60 vendors. It is open three days per week in the summer season at the Riva Site and a brand new market starting at The South River Colony. A huge variety of items are now being offered at the market and the season runs from mid-April to the Saturday before Christmas.
The Maryland Renaissance Festival has been delighting visitors since 1977, with its recreation of a 16th century English village called Revel Grove. The walled village is set on a beautiful 125-acre wooded site with 85 acres of free parking, and includes a Jousting Arena, eight large stages, five pubs, and lots of games, food and craft booths.
Established in 1986, O’Loughlin’s Restaurant is located in the College Parkway (Bay Hills) Shopping Center in Arnold. A favorite with the Annapolis area folks, O’Loughlin’s offers great food and drink served in a friendly casual atmosphere.
