		<description>Sandy Brewer recommended the conference and stated that it was timely with
Howard County just opening their self-help center. She was able to visit the
Minnesota self-help center. Sandy reported that the importance of partnerships
with the clerk’s office, judges and even the sheriffs’ offices was stressed and that
libraries were considered important in the public’s access to justice. Sandy found
the SRL pre-conference, which was smaller, to be even more helpful and would
recommend attending this conference. Sandy distributed hand-outs from the
conference: page 3 from “The Value of a Public Law Library” and “The Case for
...Public Law Library Services for the Self-Represented: An Opportunity to
enhance Access to Justice for All.
